Dear Clear Networks Customer,
To enhance the email service that we provide and reduce the overwhelming spam abuse on the Clearmail domain name, the email for @clearmail.com.au will be moved to a new server.
What Does this Mean to for you?
Due to the spam abuse; it is in the best interest of our customers that we do NOT migrate existing email from the old mailboxes to the new mailboxes.
If you wish to keep your old emails please follow the steps detailed below in ‘What do I need to do’?
When will this occur?
Tuesday 27th October 2009 at 9:00am EST.
What do I need to do?
If you wish to have your old email restored to your new mailbox you can either follow the below instructions or alternatively request our support staff to do this for you.
Please Note, if you traditionally use an email client such as Outlook to download your email you will not require email to be migrated. However, if you keep a copy of the emails on the server please contact us to migrate your email.
For our support staff to action this for you - Please send an email to

and a ticket will be created for you automatically. Note – the support staff will restore your old email to your new mailbox once the migration has been completed (allow up to 72 hours for this to occur after the migration).
The email that you send to us must include the following information for us to action your request:
ØYour Full Name
ØClear Mail Email address’s (you may have more than one email address, be sure to include them all)
Optional Technical details to get your new mailbox up and running immediately.
Please note, the old DNS will be updated, so if you don’t mind waiting a few days, you don’t have to change anything below.
However if you require urgent access, the below setting will allow you to receive mail after the 21st of October
Old Settings for email are (before 27th October):
Incoming Mail Server: mail.clearmail.com.au
Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.clearmail.com.au
New Settings for email will be (after 27th October):
Incoming Mail Server: pop3-cc.clearmail.com.au
Outgoing Mail Server: smtp-cc. clearmail.com.au
