Television and Radio Interference
This wireless broadband device generates, uses, and can radiate radio-frequency energy. If it is not installed and used properly—that is, in strict accordance with Clear Networks instructions—it may cause interference with radio and television reception.
If your device does cause interference to radio or television reception, try to correct the interference by using one or more of the following measures:
- Turn the radio or television antenna until the interference stops.
- Move the device to one side or the other of the radio or television.
- Move the device farther away from the radio or television.
- Plug the device into an outlet that is on a different circuit from the radio or television. (Be sure they are controlled by different circuit breakers or fuses.)
If necessary, contact your installation coordinator, or consult an experienced radio/television technician for additional suggestions.
Important: Changes or modifications to this device not expressly authorized by Clear Networks could void the EMC compliance and negate your authority to operate the device.
This device was tested for EMC compliance. The radiated output power of the SkyConnector is far below the ACMA radio frequency exposure limits.
Nevertheless, it is advised to use the wireless equipment in such a manner that the potential for human contact during normal operation is minimized. Installation of this device should ensure at least 15.75 inches (40 cm) of clearance between the front of the device and any human contact during normal operation.
